Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using TrunkTransfer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including anonymous uploaders.

2. The service

TrunkTransfer provides temporary file hosting and sharing. Uploaded files are stored on secure, private object storage and automatically deleted when the transfer link expires. We do not guarantee permanent storage. Use the service for temporary delivery only.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload:

• Content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Violations are immediately reported to authorities.
• Malware, viruses, or files designed to harm recipients.
• Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Personally identifiable information of others without their consent.

We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate accounts that violate these terms, without notice.

4. Plan limits

Free accounts are limited to 3 GB per transfer with 7-day link expiry. Starter accounts are limited to 200 GB per transfer with 30-day expiry. Limits are enforced server-side. Attempting to circumvent limits may result in account suspension.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Starter subscriptions are available monthly ($9/mo) or annually ($72/yr), billed via Polar. You may cancel at any time and access continues until the end of the current billing period. Lifetime Deal (LTD) purchases are one-time payments with no recurring fees and access does not expire. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of billing if you have an issue.

6. Liability

TrunkTransfer is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for lost files, failed uploads, or damages arising from use of the service. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 30 days.

7. Intellectual property

You retain full ownership of all files you upload. By uploading, you grant TrunkTransfer a limited license to store and serve the file solely for the purpose of operating the service. This license ends when the file expires and is deleted. We will never use your files to train AI models or for any purpose beyond delivering them to your intended recipient.
